I've been invited to share Style At Home Magazine's makeover of the Oncology Inpatient Lounge at Toronto's Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Style At Home's Editor-in-Chief, Erin McLaughlin, joined up with Scotties facial tissue to create a beautiful, hard-working space for cancer patients and their loved ones. The new design features an inviting palette of soft pinks, serene blues and warm wood tones. Pretty wallpaper, artwork and accessories lend a home-like feel to the lounge, while a clever mix of new and repurposed furnishings ensure the space is as comfortable as it is functional.
Scotties has been a proud sponsor of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation since 2005. Each year, Scotties designs a Tribute Box to create awareness and donate money to the foundation. This year, Scotties invited Canadians to share their stories, quotes and images on the Scotties Facebook Page. Taking inspiration from these wonderful words and images, Scotties created 3 box designs. Canadians were then asked to vote for their favourite, with Scotties donating $1 for every vote to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The winning Tribute Box design for 2012 is pictured above. Isn't that a beautiful thing?!

Wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Amy. I might have missed this heartwarming endeavor.
