I can't lie. When I first learned of the I Can Achieve Contest from Canesten (in Partnership with CityLine), I was thinking mainly of myself - a selfish moment, if you will - and how sweet it would be to win the grand prize. I mean, maybe then I could actually afford to blog for a living...instead of working all day and blogging late into night - like I am right now.

Then I had a better (slightly less self-centred) idea! I decided my sister's life of courage, determination and love was a waaaaay sweeter story and needed to be shared! You can read my beautiful sister Kimberly's story here!
There are so many amazing stories on the I Can Achieve website. I encourage you to check a few of these inspirational stories out; and, if you feel so inclined, perhaps vote for one of your fav stories each day. Disclaimer: Warning! Viewing stories may leave readers with feelings of thankfulness, humility and hope. Blessings.

"Amy's Mom" here. My subjects blessed the shot, not my rudimentary photography skills. LOL
ReplyDeleteAmy, what a thoughtful blog. Truth is, you are as much a woman of "courage, determination and love" as your sis. I am blessed. :)
It's very sweet of you to think of your sister...good luck to her!
